Psycholinguistics sees the relationship between language and the mind, analyzes how the human being acquires language and what cognitive mechanisms are involved in this process of linguistic information. Therefore, we can say that psycholinguistics explores the psychological processes involved in the use of language. A highly relevant topic, since many of us wonder how we store words, how are the syntactic structures in the brain, what memory processes are involved or how we can understand and produce speech. At the same time, it has been shown that language development is of vital importance for the formation of critical thinking and is very essential for understanding and favorable acquisition in teaching and learning.
