Abstract

This research aims to study the development planning in rural communities Jach’a Carangas the department of Oruro, Bolivia, and analyze local development from the point of view indigenous community. To do this, a field study is conducted through a survey of the main leaders of rural communities and on the other hand, it has been revised specialized in the field of literature study. The research results establish that planning processes are built with a median participation of the population and based on customs, traditions and local knowledge, and consequently the vision of local development allows practices of cooperation, socialization and community identity, which gives them permanent dynamic processes of development, which is close to the characteristics of endogenous development.
