Abstract

The problem that gives rise to this investigation is the misuse and exploitation of different resources and inadequate design of production processes available to the Company AJEPER Plant Huancayo whose effects are observed: low production volumes, low levels in the ratios productivity, high production times and observed a sub use of some resources. This arises because of the need to optimize production volumes as they come through a plant closing is imminent research uses lean manufacturing methodology to assist the process of mproving production plant AJEPER Huancayo integrating the approaches of systems thinking and discrete event simulation . The study was developed through the modeling process of the present situation which has been characterized by three simulation models and implementing the future state simulation models to project possible changes to be implemented and to explore new behaviors the new system.
