Abstract

The wastewater coming of the textile industry cause problem environmental when are disposed to source reservoirs natural. The process frequently used for removing the dyes are expensive. In this context, has been developed bioprocesses, such as biosorption that used as precursory waste organic material, as an economic alternative for this waste type. The orange peels modified was media of biosorption that used in this work. Has been evaluated the influence of the change the particle size, contac time and concentration biosorpbent, simultaneously in a 23 design. The bigger dye removal obtained with particle of ≤ 1 mm of diameter, contac time of 60 min and a concentration bioabsorb of 70 g/L. In the smallest level, of the variables resultant a drop removing dye.
