Abstract

The main instrument for evaluating the ultraviolet index was the TUV model to infer the ultraviolet index, due to interactions with other gases (total Ozone) or particles (atmospheric aerosols). Likewise, it was obtained that the intensity of ultraviolet radiation in the Junín region is high (values close to 20), which can cause diseases such as skin cancer, if we have a long exposure time. Likewise, the vertical gradient obtained values close to 2 of UV index for every 1 km of altitude.
