Abstract

The objective of the research was to establish the state of the intelligent organization disciplines in the Management of the Universidad Nacional del Centro del Perú. As a social system, its internal renewal, in order to be viable in the face of the dynamic requirements of the environment must begin with the diagnosis of the disciplines that must be developed to move towards an intelligent organization.

The methodology was based on the design and application of questionnaires for each discipline of the intelligent organization proposed by Peter Senge. For that, it was necessary to deeply understand each discipline of the intelligent organization, to establish  the information requirements and the queries in each questionnaire with alternatives according to the Likert scale, with five response variants. The questionnaires were applied to 50 members, among teachers, administrators and students of the National University of the Center of Peru.

The results obtained provide a score of 2.4 in the Mental Model discipline; 2.6 in Personal Domain, 2.8 in Shared Vision; 2.9 in Team Learning and in 2.8 in Systemic Thinking; giving an average of 2.7 as a practice of the intelligent organization discipline at the University, allowing to establish that the organization has an initial state of intelligent organization, in addition, it allows to identify details to be improved in each discipline.
