The hydatidosis is at the present a very serious problem of Public health in many countries and regions in the world and specially in cattle production zones. In Latin America, the contries that registered high infection rates are: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru and Unuguay due to the impact thet produces this illness in the patient, his family and community, where its necessary to apply an epidemicological approach to study this zoonosis and the importance to supply an epidemicological service of observance that help us to take presentive, curative and rehabilitation efficient actions. In this opportunity, an observational, descriptive and retrospective study was carried out in patients younger than 14 years operated on of hepatical and Pulmonar hydotidosis at Daniel Alcides Carrion Hospital in Huancayo from January 2004 to December 2006 having found 63 cases of people operated on at hidotidosis, 11 out of which, it means, 17.4% corres ponding to patients younger than 14 years old, most of them coming from urban areas (55%) and from a rather lower economical origen (73%) who raise dogs but not sheeps the mostrequent localization of this cyst was pulmomar.(64%) and only (36%) on the liver 57% of patients with pulmonars cyst localization showed vomits the predominant Nº of cyst was unique (73%) and (37%) with multiple cysts localization.
