Abstract

The formation of new varieties of small cereal grains requires new or improved seed genetics, which were drawn by the objectives of introducing and adapting lines of bread wheat, durum wheat and triticale and select the best genotypes in the EEA "El Mantaro." Were introduced from CIMMYT - MEXICO bread wheat lines 2 sites: 27 º ESWYT, 14 º SAWYT, durum 1plantel: 38 º ITYN and triticale 1plantel: 38 º ITYN, each campus has 50 lines. Lines were installed in observation plots in group 6B of the EEA "El Mantaro" campaign 2007 - 2008, we selected the top five lines of each school based on performance (k / ha) in grain. The breeding of wheat flour 27 º ESWYT shows a maximum yield of 4167 kg / ha. The breeding of wheat flour 14 º SAWYT of 6458 kg / ha, 38 º triticale campus IDYN of 6042 kg / ha, 38 º triticale campus ITYN of 4167 kg / ha. The best response to yellow rust (Puccinia striiformis West) is shown by the schools 14° SAWYT (wheat flour) and 38 º IDYN (durum wheat). The lines selected from each school will be multiplied and used in breeding.
