Abstract

This investigation had the objective to get the relation between the use of Facebook and orthographic on third grade students of “Heroínas Toledo” school. It was of a basic type, correlational descriptive level, using the scientific and descriptive method. The sample was constituted by 70 students of the third grade of “Heroínas Toledo” high school in Concepción. The research was based on this general problem: What is the relation between Facebook and orthographic in students of third grade of high school of Concepción? Therefore, the hypothesis was that the relation between Facebook and orthographic was significant and positive in third grade’s students of the city of Concepción. The instruments that we used were a test with close questions and a Likert scale type test. The results we obtained was a low or reverse correlation of -0,242 applying Rho de Spearman to get a coefficient of correlation. Because of that, we concluded there is sufficient evidence to prove that we have a reverse or significant statistically correlation in the sample of the study according to both variables.
