Abstract

Did the investigation begin with the purpose of solving the problem Which the predominant phonetic features are in the work "El mundo es ancho y ajeno" of Ciro Alegría in the phonetic level? The objective to Describe the changes f predominant features in the work "El mundo es ancho y ajeno" of Ciro Alegría in the phonetic level.  The hypothesis The predominant phonetic features in the work "El mundo es ancho y ajeno" of Ciro Alegría in the phonetic level are those of addition, suppression and induction. Quantitative investigation, not experimental, traverse and with descriptive design. It shows deliberate conformed by the work "El mundo es ancho y ajeno" of Ciro Alegría.  The method descriptivo was used for Palacios' phonetic analysis (2000). It concludes that the phonetic changes for addition prevail the phenomenon paragoge, in the phonetic changes for suppression the phenomenon phonetic apocopation prevails; and, in the phonetic changes for induction ell phenomenon phonetic velarización prevails.
