Virtual classrooms and investigative abilities in students of education of the Universidad Nacional del Centro del Perú

Abstract

The objective of the research was to establish the effectiveness of the investigative skills in students of the X half of the specialty of Languages, Literature and Communication of the National University of the center of Peru. The study was of type applied and experimental level with quasi-experimental design. Scientific methods were used, analysis - synthesis, historical logical, the observation and measurement. He instruments applied were the tab of observation of the creation and use of the virtual classroom edmodo.com tab and observation of the investigative skills. The study group was composed by 17 students of the aforementioned specialty and university. It was concluded that the use of virtual classrooms is effective to improve research skills because in the domains of start, progress, library, assignment, notifications, groups and account, are simulated, collected, processed, preserved and virtualize the production of knowledge as a product of the development of self-control, Flexibility, economy, precision, speed and transfer in synchronous and asynchronous spaces, as shown statistically to find that the tc = 1,285 > tt = 1,7459, with a level of significance of =0.05.
