The present work was developed with the objective of evaluating the growth of the skin longitudinally and the birth of wool fibers in the first four months of age of Junín breed lambs, grouped into two groups, one male and one female, the methodology used was through the FIBER DEN equipment, starting to evaluate at birth these two characteristics, then every 30 days until weaning (4 months of age), for this work we used the lambs of the U. P. Casaracra of the SAIS ”TÚPAC AMARU” Ltda. Nº 1, located in the district of Paccha, province of Yauli Oroya. The research was descriptive and correlational; the data collection control was done until the lambs were four months old. The data revealed that the skin growth at 30 days was an average of 1.60 cm², at 60 days 1.97 cm², at 90 days 2.50 cm² and at 120 days 2.90 cm², in case of fiber birth was 32 per mm², at 30 , 60, 90 and 120 days of age it was 53, 46, 46 and 38 fibers per mm² respectively.
