A case of inverted urothelial papilloma in prostatic urethra
Keywords:
obstrucción uretral, papiloma, urotelial uretralAbstract
We report a case that was treated in a clinic in the city of Huancayo. It corresponds to a 25-year-old male patient who presented hematuria and obstructive symptoms similar to a patient with prostatic obstruction that gradually increased. He was diagnosed endoscopically and required TUR surgery. After TUR, his symptoms improved, especially voiding frequency and voiding stream. The successful outcome of the only case treated indicates that this type of pathology can occur in young men.
