Parental styles in infants users of La Esperanza health post, Chilca, 2018

In order to determine the parenting styles of mothers of children under 5 years of age using the La Esperanza health post in the district of Chilca, a descriptive study was carried out on a sample of 125 mothers who were administered the Parenting Practices Questionnaire developed by Robinson et al. The results revealed that 38.1% of the mothers presented an authoritarian parenting style, 10.5% a democratic style, 34.3% an indulgent style and 15.2% a negligent style.
