Implementation of a Mobile Financial Advisor to Improve Financing Decision-Making in Microentrepreneurs in Metropolitan Huancayo

Objective: To analyze the impact of implementing the mobile financial advisor “AFIRMO” on improving financing decision-making among microentrepreneurs in Metropolitan Huancayo. Methods: The study was applied research with a quantitative approach and a pre-experimental design using pretest and posttest measurements on a sample of 300 microentrepreneurs. The “AFIRMO Mobile Financial Advisor Evaluation Questionnaire” was used, validated through Aiken's V above 0.80 and a Cronbach's Alpha reliability coefficient of 0.87. Data were processed using SPSS version 27 through descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: Before implementation, 75% of participants considered that the financial advisor could quickly resolve their financial concerns, while 71.67% expressed positive expectations regarding its usefulness and ease of use. After the intervention, 80.67% indicated that AFIRMO's responses were relevant and applicable to their situation, 79% stated that the tool saved time in decision-making, and 78.34% reported improvements in their financial decisions. Inferential analysis showed statistically significant differences between pretest and posttest results (p < 0.05), confirming the positive effect of the mobile financial advisor implementation. Conclusions: The implementation of AFIRMO significantly contributes to improving financing decision-making, strengthening financial inclusion, and facilitating access to clear and accessible financial information for microentrepreneurs in the city of Huancayo.
