Abstract

Female leadership has gained increasing relevance within organizations due to its influence on institutional efficiency and the strengthening of organizational processes. In this context, the study aimed to determine the influence of female leadership on the organizational performance of financial institutions in the Mantaro Valley. The research adopted a quantitative approach, explanatory level, and non-experimental cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 170 female workers from 17 financial institutions located in the Mantaro Valley. Data collection was conducted through structured questionnaires adapted from Aycan et al. (2012) and Anuar et al. (2024), while statistical analysis was performed using PLS-SEM structural equations through SmartPLS. The results showed that female leadership had a significant and positive influence on organizational performance (β = 0.843; p < 0.05). Likewise, task-oriented behaviors and relational behaviors significantly influenced organizational performance, whereas work ethic did not reach statistical significance. It is concluded that female leadership strengthens the organizational performance of the analyzed financial institutions, particularly through relational skills associated with communication, empathy, and cooperation within the organizational environment.
