Perception of Artificial Intelligence in teachers and students of the National University of Central Peru
Abstract
University teaching in recent years has shown concern about the profile that a university student should have. Hence, it has been recognized that one of the skills that every student must possess is critical thinking; since this involves subjecting even one's own beliefs to analysis and judgment, and it is precisely this that requires the willingness to change. The study aimed to evaluate the differences in the perception of Artificial Intelligence in teachers and students at the National University of Central Peru (UNCP). This was achieved through the application of a 30-item questionnaire, which was structured considering the three dimensions of the perception variable of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The results of the research revealed that there is a significant difference in the general view of AI between teachers and students at UNCP, in which teachers usually consider AI as an opportunity for teaching, while students show an attitude predominantly neutral.
