Verbal games and oral language in 4-year-old preschool children at I.E.E.N. °300- Huancayo

The objective of the work was to determine the influence of verbal games on the development of oral language in 4 year old preschoolers from the I.E.P. N° 300-HUANCAYO, for them the Revised Oral Language of Navarra test (PLON-R) was applied as a pre-test evaluation To then carry out a workshop to stimulate oral language through verbal games (riddles, tonguetwisters, rhymes and facial workshops), which was evaluated with the same test (post test). The work was developed by the experimental scientific method of applied type and technological level, the design used was the pre-experimental for a single group with pre- and post-test evaluation whose stimulus was verbal games. The population of the study were 145 children of 4 years of age of an initial educational institution in the state of the urban area of the district of Huancayo and the sample was formed by 50 boys and girls of 4 years of age of the classrooms, lilac, red, white, blue and fuchsia of the I.E.P. N° 300-HUANCAYO, concluding that verbal games have a positive influence on the development of oral language in 4 year old preschoolers in the of district Huancayo, according to the T-student´s t- test with a significance of 0.05; which was corroborated with an increase in the average, which went from 7.02 + 2.13 in the pre-test evaluation that qualified the group as "retarded" to an average of 12.98 + 0.51 in the evaluation of posttest, qualifying the group as "normal" in the development of oral language according to the PLON - R test.
