Creativity and emotional intelligence in 5-year-old boys and girls in Huancayo

They work presented corresponds to the type of research by applied nature and by substantive-explanatory purpose, with an explanatory level and descriptive method; at the same time, the causal-comparative design was used. The population constitutes 7.580 students belonging to Regular Basic Education; and with a simple made up of 222 students, 126 boys and 96 girls belonging to the initial level of 5 years from public educational institutions of Regular Basic Education. The Creativity Test instrument was used to evaluate the development of creativity and to evaluate the other variable, the Emotional Intelligence Checklist was used. The data were processed by Chi square. Obtaining as a result that Creativity does influence the Emotional Intelligence of 5-year-old boys and girls in the Province of Huancayo.
