Interculturality, what kind of interculturality?

Abstract

The article reflects on the concept of interculturality, raises some ideas why interculturality today more than before is imperative, in this perspective the concept of functional interculturality, its characteristics and daily practice, which is nothing but a practice inscribed in the policy of transition and homogenization ; then he revises the concept of reflective critical interculturality, as an alternative that goes beyond the merely rhetorical discourse of the functional, this seeks to establish intercultural dialogue not only on a superficial level, but also transcends the background of relationships in the encounter of the different cultural logics; finally, it seeks to better understand inclusive and collaborative interculturality, no longer a discourse or reflection, but as a real practice of respect and appreciation that nurtures and enriches both forms of culture.
